MUSIC LESSONS I offer private music instruction on piano and guitar for all ages and levels. The styles of music I teach range from classical, rock, blues, funk, jazz, country, and pop. My teaching studio is located in my home, fully furnished with a traditional acoustic piano, a digital piano, a keyboard, and various guitars and amplifiers. I promote the enjoyment of playing music and learning about theory, technique, and musicianship in my lessons. Music making involves mastering various skills, such as reading notes, rhythms, chords, as well as auditory, or 'playing by ear', skills. Different styles of music require different skill sets, and I focus private lessons to cater to the sets of skills that my student is interested in learning about.
